Utah Valley University Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Kevin Perkins has stepped down from the top spot after leading the Wolverines for 7 years. Perkins never had a losing season at the helm of the Wolverines.

“It’s time to move on,” said Perkins.

Perkins led the Wolverines to the 2010 MCLA Division II Championship game before being defeated by St. Thomas. Also in 2010, UVU won the Division II RMLC Championship.

“Coach Perkins stepped down due to family reasons,” said UVU player Jonothon Andrews. “We are currently looking for a Head Coach who will be able to pick up where Perkins left off and move us into the future.”

Anyone who is interested in coaching UVU, please contact Jonothon Andrews –

Perkins had a great run, he did a lot for Utah lacrosse. He will definitely be missed. That being said, who is on the short list? Here’s 2, Fish Bartlett or Pete Stevenson. A month ago, I would have said Brad Lavoie, but he evidently became a full time coach at Westminster. Big things happening there with a full time staff?
