Prodigy Play of the Week: Week 2

Week 2 of the Prodigy Play of the Week is here! Have a look at the plays and vote for your favorite. The winner will be announced on Thursday morning.


No. 1 – Winston Farley – Timpanogos
After a uncontrolled save by Copper Hills, Timpanogos Attackmen Winston Farley scoops up the loose ball in front of the crease, dives and shoots for the goal.

No. 2 – Ryan Green – Juan Diego
Juan Diego Midfielder Ryan Green with the great dodge up top, switches to his left hand and then bounces it in for the goal.

No. 3 – Elias Fairman – Brighton
Brighton Midfielder Elias Fairman with the great spin through the defense and the great goal.

No. 4 – Linford to Stephens – Alta
Altas Sarah Linford drives down the center of the field but the Brighton defense holds her off. Linford spins and finds Malia Stephens wide open for the goal.

No. 5 – Skylour Tatum – Syracuse
Syracuse Attackmen Skylour Tatum with a heads up goal. The ball was down in front of the crease, Tatum scooped it between his legs and the ball goes in for the goal.

No. 6 – Luke Pyper – Waterford
The Waterford man-up unit works the Orem Defense with great ball movement leading to Waterford Attackmen Luke Pyper finding himself with time and space for the huge rip.

No. 7 – Logan Hail Mary – Logan
Logan Goalie Kevin Bodily walks the ball up the field on a clear and spots attackmen Beau Artist making a run behind the Davis defense. Bodily goes with the long pass, Artist catches it and takes it to the house for the goal.

No. 8 – Skyline Transition – Skyline
Skyline gets the ball and works the fast break with Liza McDowell finding Molly Arnold for the great goal.

No. 9 – Josh Gee – Davis
Davis Attackmen Josh Gee with an off-balance top right corner goal.

No. 10 – Luke Graney – Juan Diego
Juan Diego Attackmen Luke Graney gets the ball near midfield, burns his defender, jukes another and takes it home for the goal.

    I don’t know…Winston’s finish is pretty slick, but Logan’s goalie hits him right in stride.  I’m sure that’s just how the coach drew it up.
