2016 ULA Girls Coaches Poll – Week 10
05.04.2016 - By Paul Walker

As the ladies head into the final week of the regular season, not many changes happened. American Fork remained on top with wins over Herriman and Juan Diego. After defeating Corner Canyon, Riverton returns to the poll into eighth place.

How the Poll Works:
Each week Coaches vote on their Top 8. The first place team is given 8 points and the 8th place team gets 1 point. The teams are then ordered by how many points they get.

Comment below and let us know what you think of the Top 8 poll. Who would be your Top 8?

I get no poll is perfect, but its really pathetic to see this. Teams like Copper Hills and Juan Diego get 0 votes, while Davis ranked #20 gets 4?. Sky View and Weber? Those two teams are unlikely to even make the B Bracket playoffs. Its too bad this kind of nonsense is allowed in the poll and published.

    • The girls poll has always struggled to get a good amount and a good variety of coaches to actually contribute. Unless the league mandates voting (which could also cause issues), it’s likely not going to change.

        Tim,
Fair enough, and don’t get me wrong, I totally appreciate and love the work you do with this website. It just seems like what voting does occur needs to pass a basic smell test when teams like that have multiple votes.
