MESQUITE, NEV. – The Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is open in Mesquite, Nev., a burgeoning sports mecca that is attracting a wide range of sporting events, camps and tournaments, and tens of thousands of visitors each year. The Rising Star Sports Ranch was designed to be the hub of this sports town, and is perfectly located within close proximity to an impressive inventory of sports venues and golf courses.
Media tours are available upon request.

With the convenience of every sporting venue and golf course within a 10-minute drive of the Rising Star, the property is a one-of-a-kind sports destination in the United States. The Rising Star offers 210 rooms, many featuring bunk beds and adjoining rooms for parents and chaperones. The property also features ample conference and meeting space, a signature restaurant and arcade. The sports amenities at the ranch include a full size grass field for soccer, football, lacrosse and other field sports. A 30,000-square-foot field house, affectionately called “The Barn”, is currently under construction and will open in May 2017.

“Coaches, Players and parents clearly want the opportunity for good competition on the field, they also have hopes for their time off the field during tournament weekends” said Rising Star Sports Ranch Developer Greg Lee “They would like an opportunity to enjoy family time, to relax and have fun, to not be stressed out. In this era, a remarkable amount of time and often money is committed by families to allow their children to pursue sports, and some of that time is vacation time. The Ranch works to recognize that and we are committed to providing the environment to make great times and great memories on and off the field. We are a family business and we have had the same experiences as many traveling with our children for tournaments so have spent the last several years using those experiences and studying the sporting event industry at every level. We have spoken with organizers, families and competitors, and their input is intertwined into every inch of our new, unique destination.”

The restaurant at Rising Star is named Victory Kitchen. The restaurant is the result of the collaboration of the Rising Star and 34th Floor Hospitality, the creators of “Secret Pizza” of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. The restaurant will have indoor and outdoor dining, and a large menu featuring of course the best hand-tossed, NY-style pizza in anywhere, chopped salads, and wings. The restaurant is specifically designed to host the large parties which come with traveling sports teams and golf groups.

The Rising Star Sports Ranch Resort is full of innovation. The Ranch is the first hotel in Nevada to feature room service robots. Designed by Savioke in Palo Alto, CA, the robots will be able to wow guests by autonomously delivering an extra pillow, blanket, candy bar, or slice of pizza to any guest room. Rather than give children who are attending sports camps room keys that can easily get lost or confused for a friend’s, RFID wristbands will be used to gain room and pool access. These wristbands can also be used at the restaurant to pay for meals.

Several major events have already reserved dates with Rising Star including the Utah Youth Soccer Presidents Cup, events coordinated by Rocky Mountain School of Baseball and the Go For It Gymnastics Acrobat to Artist event. A complete listing of all reserved events is available upon request.

Mesquite, Nev., located 80 miles north of Las Vegas and 37 miles from St. George, Utah, is a convenient sports destination that offers multiple fields, courts and facilities perfect for any size of special event, camp or tournament. The Mesquite area is home to eight world-class golf courses and is an exciting spot for golf buddy trips, husband and wife golf vacations and tournaments.
