FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — East High Lacrosse

This past summer, East High Lacrosse was deeply saddened at the loss of our Offensive Coordinator, Coach Matt Hearn, to a tragic climbing accident. Coach Hearn was a mentor and friend as well as phenomenal coach. He was awarded the well deserved honor of Assistant Coach of the Year in 2017 by the UHSLL. The players will be wearing a helmet tribute sticker designed by the team captains and shooting shirts bearing his name as part of their uniforms in honor of him this season. Coach Hearn was loved by all for his positive outlook, drive and dedication to the boys. He is dearly missed. Our games, East vs. Lone Peak on March 20th at the East stadium- JV 7pm and Varsity at 8pm, will be tribute games dedicated to our beloved Coach Hearn. The public is invited to share in this evening celebrating his legacy to East Lacrosse.
